Most of us that are old enough to get SS & MC , PAID & are still PAYING . Myself been paying SSI since 1964 & correct me if wrong MC since 1965. Plus for ya'll that never signed the FRONT of a paycheck, employers match that pay stub deduction along with an unemployment tax sum. Free entitlement my a#* for lots of us.
I don't remember ever being asked if I wanted to have that money taken out of my pay. Also you get taxed on money they already taxed you on. Another " gotcha " on MC is the penalty for working hard & saving. When we retired & sold our " evil corporation " ( very small HVAC business ) we got hit with a penalty of $5000 each.
