long term non-use/storage

Shouldn't be too much to have someone drive it around a bit, run the gen, shake the fluids and tires. I'm sure there's some folks around happy to check in and help while you recover- don't be shy, this is the time. Take it easy on both of you, and here's to many more trips soon

You are in boat country. Barrow a battery to start it and then find someone (they are all over around here (down river) that knows how to "fog" an engine for storage. We do this all the time around here. Worst that happens with a vehicle is that the O2 sensor (~20$) will die because they don't have much sense of humor when it comes to oil.
Block it up to get the weight of the tires and if it is over soil, spread a poly sheet under it so the condensation doesn't rot the frame.
For one year, start with the tank full and stabilizer in it. If it gets on to three years, you will want to dump that fuel. No lead lasts better than the old fuel did because the TEL doesn't age out and the alcohol absorbs the moisture.
Do that, and she will wait for you.

The ONLY thing bad about a sitting gas vehicle is the gas. Siphon it out....Give it away to some guy with a gas guzzler. Cars sit on ships for months, then on lots for months. Then we buy them. The lot boy adds fresh fuel. Nothing else is done to them.

I would agree with the suggestion to drive it monthly. Get the insurance back in force.

remember if you don,t use it, it,ll rot in the drive way. diesels are a different engine they can sit , gas engines can,t still for long they need to move ,

Put insurance on it and drive it monthly, or sell it. Otherwise, you are going to let it turn into a useless pile of refuse. Consider the insurance to be a maintenance cost. Also, a trickle charger on the (new) chassis battery would be good.

Stabil has a shelf life and you are probably pushing it to its limit. I would drain that gas or most of it before your net use.

That's not needed in Michigan. I've been doing this for 20 years. The MH does not leave my driveway.

don't know about your state but here if you drop the state min liability you must immediately turn in your plates. big fine daily if you don't.

I would make sure your tires are inflated properly. It is a toss up between not putting in a battery until you are ready to travel verses putting one in so you can move it in the driveway to rotate the wheels. But then you would need to let it idle until it's up to running temperature... so I think my choice would be to let it sit with no battery. My DP sat for a year once and the only issue was it took a bit for the air brakes to release because they had probably rusted to the drums. In your case I would make sure your emergency brake is off and block the wheels if needed.
