You saw the turn signal......why didn't you just let him pull in front of you?
Do you expect trees to be cut out of your way when you are trying to get into a site? If you can't get a lane change, drive around the block or take the next exit and try again with a bit better planning. Leave proper following distance between rigs and someone usually moves into the space.
