Looking for a table

Last years I had a folding resin table that basically fell apart. All the screws fell out and can't be put back in because the plastic opened up. Don't know how, why or care at this point.

I have been looking for a folding metal table that is at least 6' long 3' wide that is stable. The ones I saw at camping world wobbled like crazy, in fact I bumped into it and the display they had on it all fell down.

So far coming up blank. The one thing about the resin table is it was solid on the ground. I use it for cooking and for when I go flying, I assemble my planes on it and do repairs if needed, which is why I am looking for metal, easier to clean.

That is basically what I have, the frame is nice and strong but the plastic top stripped off from all the opening and closings and bouncing around.

Now that I think of it, maybe some thin carriage bolts through the top will secure it, be cheaper than buying another one.

  • Check out Cabella's and some of the sporting goods distributors. They sell metal folding tables used for food service and other purposes.

FWIW, I put a pair of folding legs on my TT galley table. We can move it outside, if necessary, but it is heavy. I made it from a manufactured, finished pine panel. The legs pair came from a local Superstore. Mentioning it if you can't find the strength you need from something off the shelf.
