- RVUSAExplorerRight next to huntington beach is newport beach. The resort is as good as it gets around there. If you time it right you can watch the champions tour play golf across the street.
- Quick_tripExplorerIf you go to Newport Dunes, plan on spending big bucks to stay there!
- John___AngelaExplorerLooking at street view google maps there seems to be LOTS of RV's in what looks like dry camping lots. Any comments?
Here's the thing. My brother and Sister in law are staying at the Hyatt and we would like to be as close as possible.
Thanks in advance. - WyoTravelerExplorerI think Newport is $50 a night. Other choice is Long Beach but bet they are full without reservations. Newport will have openings in the winter. We've stayed at both last year. Nothing else I am aware of in the area. I wouldn't stay in north Long Beach. The RV park in Torrance is in a bad crime area. If you stay at Newport ask for a site away from the beach. Much cheaper.

- RVUSAExplorerthere are 2 more rv parks closer to huntington. They looked cramped and full when I went by. just do a google search with the satellite view and look for the rv's, you'll find them.
I paid $1000 a month for a 43'x15' piece of dirt at the dunes, and I mean dirt. When it rained it was a mud pit. Friday and saturday nights the movie kids line their lambo's and ferraris up on the 101 and street race between the two lights there. The place sounded like a indy car race with all the 12 cylinder motors revving. LOL - John___AngelaExplorerYou guys are awesome. Think we are leaning towards the huntington by the sea or the one right across. We'll call them when we hit Vegas.
Thanks again folks.
John and Angela - RicJonesExplorerCall NOW or there is a very good chance you won't get a spot, they fill up even during November.
