Agreed! In my small TT 750 watts is plenty regardless. - We got one at true value for $20 or 30. Work’s great, digital kicks on and off .perfect
- roam1ExplorerI’ve had a Vortex heater for 20 years, variable speed and mouse quiet once at temp, would buy again

Fact is all electric space heaters are exactly 100% efficient that's because all losses are HEAT.
Since you want Small I Recommend a ceramic
Second: RV wiring may not be up to 1500 watt. 750 is not often a problem but 1500 is.. the reason is the el-cheapo "uni-box" style outlets do not have enough contact area with the wires so they get hot and literally melt.
I put in a pair (over time 3) Heavy duty 15/20 amp outlets 12 ga wire and each with a circuit breaker all to itself.. No problems. 12ga wire bent around a screw beats 14 ga "punched down" every time. - trb46ExplorerMost of the newer ones from Walmart have the automatic cutoff switch (should the heater get knocked over), but some of the older ones don’t have that feature. Look for one that has the cutoff switch.
- _1FlyboyExplorer.... Our old electric heater quit, did research and went with the $19.84 Walmart heater; wonderful value & happy as a pig in poop with the purchase...
- IAMICHABODExplorer III first started off by using one of the ceramic ones but didn't like the way they got hot in the area that they sat on and the one I had the cord got hot.
I looked at the oil filled ones but their size at the time was just to big to store in my RV.
After a bit of research and the advice of others here on the Forum I settled on the Vornado
I also have the Little One for just me.
I am Very happy with it. - LwiddisExplorer IIElectric heaters could be in short supply. ‘Tis the season. Shop now.

I have a 34’ class A motor home with its built in gas heater. running on propane gas. I’m looking for a good space heater to place on the floor, electric that I could place near me only when I’m awake and watching tv. Something compact, electric and capable of heating the area around us.
any big box store will have them. we use two that have multiple heat settings along with a fan that moves the air. max wattage will be 1500. - agesilausExplorer III

Almost any small heater will meet your needs. Make sure to check the outlet you plan on using. If it has stab connectors, replace the outlet.
Ditto we were up in NC during a November cold snap down to 25 and just went out and bought a $20 Walmart 1500W heater. So far as I can tell they are all functionally the same. Get one with a blower. It heated the Arctic Fox so hot that we had to turn it on low and run the thermostat up to keep it off.
