I got and installed the TST 507 with all the great recommendations.
I still plan to do tire pre-check like lug nut torque and running my hand around the tires but checking the air pressure will be left up to the TST (once I gain confidence in the system)
From what I have read most tire failures come from slow or rapid air loss. This can't be prevented by a TPMS system but A TPMS system can alert the driver of a unknown deflated tire which could prevent damage or keep it to a minimum.
