I am about to buy a 1994 Isuzu Trooper if she can be towed, 5 speed manual,,,can I tow her 4 down...have looked at Blue Ox but they do not seem to make a base plate... Any help will be appreciated.. ...

If you're intent IS TO TOW your next toad FOUR DOWN, you might make sure before you sign the deal. I don't know those vehicles very well so, I cannot answer you accurately. But, to buy something and then start modifying it with pumps, drive shaft disconnects etc. which, could very well become a pain in the a... I'd surely confirm whether or not it can be flat towed. It's up to you, you're the one that has to deal with the modifications and added costs. As you most likely know, there's a zillion other vehicles out there that are fully authorized by the manufacturer(s) without mods. Good luck.
