I can appreciate exactly how you feel.
We have had the luxury over the years to have been able to holiday in various ways. Hotels in Europe, Tents in the rockies, Cabins in the wilderness, Million dollar cottages, RV's as well. Where you find your peace is a personal experience. We now holiday mainly in our TT. We do however, on occasion, mull over the idea of the cabin in the wilderness. Roads are becoming more congested, and the ability to get a reservation at Provincial Parks , we don't like private CG's, is becoming harder and harder. We sometimes sit back and remember how nice it was after a few hours drive we turned the key in the lock and we were relaxed.
Whatever decision you make, enjoy. Relaxation, it should not be so stressful.
