Looks like we're off the road for the foreseeable future.

Where you live..is there a decent mechanic around? Because, your RV running gear is just a truck. Probably a Ford. What kind of truck is it? What I am getting at is..it's old, and there are lots of old trucks sitting in used auto parts places. How about buying another transmission and have the local guy swap it out? You don't have to buy a new tranny..nor a new RV. At the very least, maybe price a couple local places out and see if that sounds interesting.
