"bookwormrv".....Sorry, but with what you've written so far, you should just quit camping. You don't want to fix the old one because it's too expensive and you don't want to spend money on something old and you've already decided that you're going to have a bunch of issues with a new one that you won't be able to get fixed. How about starting over with a "glass half full" attitude, buy a new one and enjoy it. Just because it's new doesn't mean it will need fixing, that's just an argument that's perpetuated by used buyers. Remember, probably less than 1% of the RVing public is on this website and generally, only stories about problems with RV's are told.
