Loose doors and cabineet panels

Our RV is now 14 years old. The cabinets and doors are solid wood.
Well...here in the land of it's a dry heat...and cold of Az. The bathroom door won't stay closed going down the road and all the panels in the doors are loose.
Tech says the wood is drying out. Wippee another problem to deal with.
Says the factory uses not even dried woods and seals it.
Well now it is shrinking. So bucket of water in shower and full toilet bowl of water. But ac will suck all that up in n time.
  • Do not glue the panels or they will split. They must be able to move but if they are so loose as to rattle maybe a high quality clear elastic caulk on the inside.

The door should be able to be adjusted.
  • Once a Year... <<-CLICKY

Cabinets and doors still looking like new after 15 years. Replaced a few handles in the bath and kitchen that get a lot of use.
  • On the cabinets you may can use fine grit steel, wool and boiled linseed oil
  • I used water thin CA glue for wood to deal with loose panels. That was in 2009. They are still just fine.

A bungee cord on the bathroom door works for trundling down the road.
