- Clay_LExplorerI understand completely. Like me the OP has enjoyed RVing for years and just wants to share the way he feels now.
We full timed for 11 years and snow birded for 1 year and have now decided we are ready to stop and start a new chapter in our lives. The rig will probably be put on the market next summer.
I joined this forum in 2002 and have over 6000 posts. I will continue to read and try to contribute to the forum as long as I wish. If that doesn't suit you that is your problem. - DufusExplorerWe full time but still do other things such as cruises. Don't care for hotels and sleeping in other folks body fluids.
- discovery4usExplorerOver the years we have found that we go in cycles. Times where we can't wait for the weekend so we can leave and get even more excited for extended vac. so we can hit the road. Other stretches one or the other has no desire to go and feel comfortable at home. I dream of the day I can take off and don't have time restrictions but at the same time want to keep a residence for the times we want to stay home. Hopefully you will get the travel bug again but nothing wrong with enjoying a little time at home with the pups.

My Aunt and Uncle were that way. He wanted to stay home she wanted to travel. Uncle stayed home took care of the dog Aunt traveled, they were both happy. Aunt went on group tours so she would not be alone.
I have been working with doctor on this.
Not interested in a cruse, or flying anywhere. I do not fly.
Have trips planned with clubs. But feel safe and secure here at home.
We have had big class A's. So it us not the RV size thing.
Here I do not have to be politically correct spend excess $$ on gas and lodging.
I keep telling the wife. Keys are in the MH. Take it.
Feel fine being left alone with my dogs. - turbopilot51ExplorerPeople lose interest in things all the time. I think it is a part of the aging process. The good part is there is one less person taking up an rv space that really doesn't want to be there. Good luck to you and my sympathy to your dw.

Took a nice cruise and spent some time in warm Florida this year.
No regrets.
We sure don't miss RV parks. Had forgotten how nice a good hotel can be.
One has to wonder.. if you don't miss RVing then why are you here? :W

Nothing wrong with that. To each his own.
Everyone has different preferences.
