In these days of computer controlled engine management removing emissions devices makes no sense, also where I live we have emmissions testing. I just enjoy the sound of a nicely tuned V8. If you do it the right way ($$$) it is only loud when you get on the skinny pedal. All those cars with annoyingly drone exhausts are just as annoying inside the offending vehicle.
