Being originally from the Northeast where there are many low bridges we always check any route with our Rand McNally Motor Carriers' Road Atlas.It lists the low bridges by route but also has all the truck routes clearly marked. We have found that if a route isn't marked for 18-wheelers then that route may have bridge weight restrictions as well. Not ready to try our luck on 5 Ton weight restricted bridges.
