low water pressure at CG

Got pressure back for the time being. Worked that backflow spring in and out several times & have pressure now. I left the tank full just in case. I'll replace that valve when i get back

You have to use filters, especially for sediments and nasties to protect your plumbing. Many many times we find ourselves, especially at holidays, with parks jammed, low water pressure. We fill the tank at night and use the water pump for regular use.
You can just turn the pump on on ours while connected but you later have to flip the valve to refill the tank.

If you do not have water at pressure at the faucet outside contact the campground why should you do there work for them.

That city water inlet check valve is a cheap plastic plunger/spring/o-ring assembly.

Even though it moves in/out freely doesn't mean that the o-ring is in proper position..they can get dislodged and block/restrict flow.

If you have good water flow thru hose with and without the regulator...then it's that cheap plastic check valve causing your low flow problem.

You can remove the check valve internals to get good flow back. then replace city water inlet assembly later OR use a 3/4" pvc plug to cap it off.
The check valve is just there to 'seal' city water inlet when using on-board pump.

I installed a 90* elbow with a garden hose shut off valve on mine years ago.
Hook up hose and open valve when I use city water or leave valve closed when I use on-board pump

Have same set up on black tank flush connection.

Sounds like the check valve on the inlet since you have good pressure with the demand pump. I would also make sure it is not the CG water. You may have good flow with the CG water but the pressure might be very low and once there is a restriction it drops even lower. Has this happened at other CG's?

Two weeks ago the water stopped flowing from my kitchen sink. I had water from the bathroom sink and tub. First thought something happened to the faucet. Turns out the aerator screen in the outlet of the faucet was completely clogged.

unhook your hose and see (roughly) how long it takes water coming out of the tap to fill a container .... then reattach the hose to the tap and disconnect it from the camper .... turn on the water and see if it takes roughly the same time to fill the container .... if it does, the problem is most likely in the camper with the backflow valve and/or screen washer at the camper's water connection being the prime suspect .... if it takes markedly longer, the pressure regulator, filter, and or a hidden kink in the hose are the prime suspects .... as has been noted, to get by until the problem is taken care of, using the camper's fresh water tank and pump is a good alternative

Did you try without a regulator to see what happens? I would also add water to the fresh water tank and try with the demand pump and see if you have good pressure. If so there are only a couple things it could be.
