I'm a gadget guy and I think the monitor is a cool gadget. I've bought more gadgets than I'm wiling to admit. I'm all electric so propane isn't an issue. Even when I did have propane, I live in California and had a huge tank in my Monaco that only needed filling every two years.
With that said, I could see that people who do a lot of camping in cold weather could benefit from the monitor. I think a lot depends on how much you use the RV. Might be a good item for a BBQ tank.
