Forget the tanks, tell us more about the wife waxing the RV. I need to know more
When we got together we agreed to split the chores, she would do the cooking, cleaning, and the laundry you know the Womanly stuff, and I would do the house repairs and updates, the mechanical work on cars, trailers and such, and the outside maintenance, you know the Manly stuff, and it has been working great all these years.
But you all should read this to understand how to treat a woman as she gets older :
My wife just washed and waxed the 5er and it only took her two days to do the job. She is getting older and slowing down some but it is important for men to remember that, as women grow older, it becomes harder for them to maintain the same quality of trailer cleanliness as when they were younger. When you notice this, try not to yell at them. Some are overly sensitive, and there’s nothing worse than an oversensitive woman.
She had to take a break when she was only half-finished washing and waxing the 5th Wheel. I tried not to make a scene. I’m a fair man. I tell her to fix herself a nice, big, cold glass of freshly squeezed lemonade and just sit for a while. And, as long as she is making one for herself, she may as well make one for me, too.
I know that I probably look like a saint in the way I support her. I’m not saying that showing this much consideration is easy. Many men will find it difficult. Some will find it impossible! Nobody knows better than I do how frustrating women get as they get older. However, guys, even if you just use a little more tact and less criticism of your aging girlfriend or wife because of this post, I will consider that writing it was well worthwhile.
