Michelin had cracking issues with a couple of their LTX line of LT and P tires in certain plant codes and certain year models (example; LTX A/S and LTX MS2). Not all seven lines of LTX tires has that issue ....nor does all 70 different lines of Michelin tires have cracking issues.
I've had trouble with Goodyear tires over the years ...but I wouldn't say all Goodyear tires are junk or they all have issues.
