making covers for fan, door window and shower skylight

Has anyone ever done this? Our TC has a skylight over the bathroom. The sun is bleaching the plastic in places and it heats the TC if the door is left open. (I like to keep the dog's water in ther...

to cover the Fantastic vents in our Motorhome.......I went to Home Depot and bought an off the shelf black out roller shade curtain.......out of that one shade I was able to make 2 roller covers......
