skylight cover?

As I was attempting to seal around my skylight I barely touched it and the cover broke to pieces. It is on a 1994 Holiday Rambler and the skylight itself still looks new. Do I have to replace the cover or can I just seal around the skylight? If I have to replace the cover where can I find one? I checked Camping World and all I saw was the skylight itself. I have a photo, I just don't know how to post it in here. Thanks in advance for any assistance you can provide.
  • Wrong,my 2006 south wind skylight was replaced at the cost of 60.00 for the inside only.not all rv shops have them.found the exact size from fleetwood.
  • The entire plastic piece can be replace. Measure the size because there is more than one size. Most RV part places will have the replacement plastic pieces. AS the previous poster stated, they get brittle with age. Each one should be under $20 and it takes longer to get the ladder and tools out than it does to replace the cover.
  • Replace all of it. Plastic gets brittle with age so you can bet the rest is just as brittle.
