Man arrested for assault in CG

It is extremely sad that this situation exists. However, it is not going to change in the near future, regardless of what happens to the offenders, family or not. So, as parents, it is our responsibility to do what is best for our children, and if that means keeping a closer eye on them, then we must do it. It disturbs me to see so many children, unsupervised, especially alone, whether in a campground, on the street, or in commercial establishments.
Being a parent is, and has always been, a really important and time consuming job.

And keep them out of the military so they don't become cannon fodder. With ALL the people I know who were abused as children the abuser was a parent or a relative and never a stranger.

Most campgrounds are safe, but its still real life.. I have heard of people being shot and killed on campgrounds, also meth labs.

relax and have fun, have 911 on speed dial.

The way to keep our kids safe is take this guy and all others like him out behind the barn - and leave him there - preferably under a pile of dirt and a stone.

Sad that a child's life got ruined. If found guilty I hope he gets the maximum sentence allowed.

I've never seen anyone arrested, but a couple of years ago there was a family over Memorial Day that was drinking and arguing all day. We saw the cops come into the campground and later found out that it had escalated to a physical fight. No arrests, but they were escorted off the campground...
