This one that went for so much more than NADA is a fairly rare model of B:
1996 ROADTRECK 210 POPULAR RVB AV 24,479 NO SLIDE OUT *ONAN 2800 248HRS / GM V8 $17,000 293%
Those 1st-gen 210's were built on a super-long 21' Chevy 1-ton G-30 van. They didn't make many of them. I don't think all had the (optional?) sit-down tub, but I know some did; saw one once. That might make it extra-desirable to a couple of competing bidders. I dunno if the GM vans of that era had a six-digit odometer, but I wonder if it actually had a lot more miles on it. Generator hours are low, which someone not familiar with the little Onans might think was desirable.
