You may not see them, but I certainly do. Living just 30 miles north of the Florida/Georgia border on I-95, I see lots of trailers with blown out tires. I don't know why they are having blowouts (cheap tires, overloaded trailer, low/high pressure, etc.), but I see plenty of them.
A lot of people are not aware that they can file claims or lodge complaints as a result of a blown tire. Especially when someone only loses 1 tire on their trailer. Most people see that as just bad luck. Rarely do multiple tires go at once to indicate a larger problem.
There are a lot of members on this message board, but compared to the number of RV owners, the members here are only a small fraction of total RV owners. How many folks here wouldn't think about filing a complaint?
