In 2004 or 5 or so we had Wranglers, from the factory,on the Fifth wheel.
While cleaning it and armor alling the tires I noticed all the little broken lines, on a ll the tires around the sidewalls. Dealer said they were fine.
We lost three of the tires, in short order. Replaced them with other Goodyears, at a good price. Shouldn't have paid anything.
They put the cheapest tires they can find,on these things, to get them out the door, at maximum profit. I've seen quite a few with skirts water lines, wires, etc destroyed, from blown tires, on nicely maintained, clean Trailers and Fifth Wheels. They went to China to obtain cheaper tires, not better quality tires. I don't know where those Wranglers were made.
We lost a set, of Michelin tires and nerves to chines valve stems, on our F150.
China is not going to be noted for quality any time soon. A few bright spots maybe.
