I would expect them to be somewhat the same cost to insure as all motor homes I've insured for clients is based on the value when looking at the physical damage portion of the policy. On a brand new motor home you may be able to get replacement cost coverage on it where an older one will be Actual Cash Value (ACV). As noted, it's best to call your agent or company and make sure it's done correct.
