Same here. I had a couple break and I called for parts but none were available as they don't use that system anymore. They were only 5 years old.

I was told I could get a "customer loyalty" discount so I ask how much and was told 10% and the price would be xxx. I told them I didn't need the whole day/night shade just the night portion but they only sell them as a complete unit. No thanks.

At an FMCA convention I inquired again and the offer was now up to 15% so no thanks again.

We now have AutoMotion shades installed and are much happier. They have a more robust roller mechanism and the material is also heavier

Ordered our Landmark with them...we absolutely LOVE them...actually waited to order coach till they were available....they are the manual...ours work great!!

I replaced all my shades with MCDs a few years ago, and I'd never install them again. The electric shades may be good but the manual ones are overpriced and I'm constantly having to adjust them.

It's all been said. We recently purchased a new motorhome with the MCD shades and absolutely love them. I particularly like the sun shade, like a heavy screen. Operate much better than the old day-night pleated blinds.

I like that you only need to give them a little tug and let them go. They smoothly and slowly retract. Great product. My front one is motorized and makes a great sunshade.
