The dividing line for drug refill restrictions is at schedule II narcotics....we don't (and needn't) know where on the spectrum the O.P.'s needs/questions fall.
Here's a link to a FAQ page explaining the different limits etc attached thereto, at least by Federal law. Individual States may have others.
