You know I have often wondered, Should we tell the internet world when we will be gone. But then I thought. If the see the 30' white thing gone. they will figure it out. - VeebyesExplorer IILunenburg, NS.
- dodge_guyExplorer IIStaying home for the first time in 13 years! We have a wedding on Sunday. So just hanging out, grilling, building a shed and hopefully warm enough to swim, but the weather doesn't look good for that.

:h
Not sure what that means???
No hurricanes or tornadoes probable, or maybe snow? - 3oaksExplorerThe Thursday just before Memorial Day weekend marks the end of our Spring time camping. Won't be heading out again until after Labor Day weekend. Being retired, we leave the crowded parks to the families and Summertime vacationers. Fun times for all to enjoy! :)
- BigdogExplorerSince I'm retired, for the third time, we're gonna head for Port Townsend on Thursday and return on Wednesday. That way we'll miss the traffic and be all set up before the weekenders get there and leave after they're gone.
Next trip, I'm gonna leave the driving to a boat captain and bus driver as we're going to be taking a cruise tour to Alaska and Denali in June. Nice thing is that the kids are getting ready to move into their new house and will be in our place while we're away on both trips.
I do agree with the previous poster when he said that anyone can tell when the big white whale is gone from the yard. Cool part about taking it in for some work is that one of the neighbors did that and got burgularized (sp?) and they caught the guy in the act and he had done a bunch of others too. - FunnyCamperExplorer IIstaying home with family and friends. my trips start big when kiddo is out of school and we can't wait to go go go
- KittykathExplorer IIWe're heading out about 2 hours from home, looking for the crowds. This is our first summer away from seasonal-style camping. No more staring at the same campfire, the same people and the same scenery. We can't wait for a little variety, no matter how busy the weekend may be. It always rains on Memorial weekend, and we're ready for that too. Sounds like there's karoake at the Jackson, MN KOA and races at a nearby racetrack. Can't wait!
- Kit_CarsonExplorerWe will be making our way to Jacksonville, Fla. for 2 weeks. Reservations are made at the three campgrounds we will stay at on the way.
