Hi, Looking for where you are going this Memorial Weekend?
The long term forecast is predicting a typical northern CA Memorial Day -- cold and stormy.
We are retired, so stay home on three day weekends. We go camping before and after the crowds. - wendylyExplorerWe will be out by Wickiup Reservoir. I'm hoping for nice weather but will be prepared for snow, rain, and general misery.
- murphysranchExplorerHeading down to Chowchilla for some camping, free golf, and relaxing. Taking my 85 yr old Mother, two dogs and three cats.

Not sure what that means???
No hurricanes or tornadoes probable, or maybe snow?
Where we're going we are going for strictly outdoor activities. Primarily bike riding and hiking. We don't want to ride or hike in the rain. Not sure too many people do. It's not a downer if we don't go, we'll find something else to do at home.
I guess we've gotten over the feeling that we need to go camping every weekend. - goducks10Explorer

Hi, Looking for where you are going this Memorial Weekend?
Going via Amtrak to D.C. where we will force ourselves to stay in a probably bedbug-ridden hotel with dirty sheets and carpet overlooking Lafayette Park.
Expect to wake to the sounds of rowdy neighbors in the form of Rolling Thunder and tour buses. No Cracker Barrel nearby so will have to eat breakfast in the hotel's dining room where I'll settle for an oatmeal souffle one day and soft curdled eggs the next.
Since we're traveling with our DGD we'll take in the National Zoo, a few monuments and more museums than a stick can be shook at.
Getting dreamy eyed errrrrrrrrr I mean depressed just thinking about it. - Taurus18ExplorerBBQ competition in Lewisburg TN and visiting family down that way. Will be about 1450 miles round trip.
- drumming102ExplorerKamp Modoc in IN.
