Memorial Weekend

We full time so we are always 'home' but we have to park it somewhere. This year, it will be at Charlestown Breachway in Rhode Island. I waited until yesterday to book so I kinda had to take what I could get but it is on the beach...

Yep, we are right in that area just off Supply road. Paradise!:)

Walked through it last year and it's a great boondocking spot:).

Heading out to Bull Shoals/White River State Park in Arkansas...the day after Memorial Day!

Hope to go to Lawrenceburg, In. and watch the World Of Outlaw Sprint Cars race. Will be dry camping in the parking lot for a couple of nights but that is fine with us. Love our racing.

Good to know! It looks squishy (tight spaces) but it is right on the beach so I can't complain much.

Not camping next weekend (Memorial Day), BUT we are camping THIS weekend. Just got our site at one of our favorite state parks - Hammonassette State Park.

Also decided to get absolutely crazy and pay the extra for water and electric hookups! Whooho! The hookup sites are limited, so it is kinda a big deal for us (lol!). Actually, the Kite Festival which was supposed to be tomorrow has been cancelled due to construction at the park - which is why there are openings at the hookup sites.

This should be interesting, as this has got to be the least prepared we have ever been for camping, lol!

As for Memorial Day weekend, I just found out that we may be going up to a friend's cabin in Vermont for the weekend. Pretty close to "camping", as it is basically a hunting cabin that is off grid. Very much looking forward to that also.

We're not camping, but we'll be in Wildwood, NJ for Memorial day

Hammo! What section are they doing construction in this year? Area One or one of the "Indians"?

Hehehe I hear you on the limited hookups. Last year we lucked into a last minute cancellation that included electric hook up which we didn't need (still tenting) and were able to help an RVer dry out their brand spanking new to anyone Fuzion w/ deck (everyone kept driving by slowly to scope it out) AND a leaking roof:o. Felt so bad for them.

We will be at Wenatchee Confluence State park. Thursday to Monday. Im hoping for Wednesday to Monday though. :D
