I know this is an older thread, but I wanted to chime in in case someone else stumbles on it like I did. We’ve been dealing with mice sneaking into our Class C for years. We did the steel wool, peppermint oil, dryer sheets—everything short of building a moat around the thing.
A few months back I found something called Box-Kat—basically a ground-level barrier you set up around the RV. I was skeptical at first, but it’s been the only thing that’s actually worked consistently for us. No new droppings, no scratching in the walls, no chewed wires.
Just figured I’d drop that here in case it helps the next poor soul hunting mice at midnight with a flashlight and a broom.
