Get some good old fashion sticky paper glue and pour a several inch spot on disposal cardboard. Put a piece of sharp cheddar in the middle and you have an environmentally sensitive low co2 non global warming trap. Learned this trick in the middle east where there are a lot of mice

Been full timing for 4 yrs now and had only seen one mouse. Our cat which was declawed was slapping it around. But that mouse decided that our MH was not a good place to settle down in and start a family. Never saw that mouse again. New cat has all its claws so I pitty the next mouse. If ever.

Stuff steel wool in every hole you can find, and put rat bars in the lowest part of the RV. If you are still getting mice the holes are not plugged. I have witness mice fit through a half-inch hole with ease. Putting the rat bars in the lowest part will stop them from coming any farther. If you find a bunch of mice in one area you will know the entrance.

Just a tip about moth balls. I wouldn't use them in an RV or even a house for that matter.

They cause lung irritation/problems when inhaled and serious damage to children if they inhale it.

An RV is VERY small the smell and chemical irritants of those balls will just about kill you. Not to mention you will NEVER get the smell or fumes ever out of the RV.

Babies are especially vulnerable because their bodies are less able to clear naphthalene byproducts formed in blood.

Moth Balls sprinkle about, or placed in an open tray works great. Use ammonia and water mixture sprayed on your rubber propane hoses to save them from mice. Mice eat the rubber for the salt that's in the rubber hose compound,

My solution may not be acceptable for all. I have never had a mouse problem in 30 some years. We have always had a cat/cats camping with us. we have a dedicated litter box for the camper. After servicing the litter box we leave it in the camper. Nary a mouse problem.

Working as a property agent I've found the best answer to the question is prevention: close up every hole, crevice, and crack, you can find. This also helps with insulation. Then go ahead and use whatever deterrent strikes your fancy.

You have to plug all the holes the manufacturer has left just for the mice!

1. At night in a dark area turn your lights on in the RV.
2. Crawl underneath and behold you will see the light coming thru all the places the mice are using to get inside your RV.

All the cuts outs for plumping, electrical, tank hookups, etc on the RV are usually cut larger than needed and the manufacturer does NOT put anything around the openings. This is common on ALL RV's.
That is how the mosquitoes get inside your RV also.

"Just One Bite" is IMHO the only stuff to use to get rid of mice. I would only use this stuff in your storage area away from pets and kids. But it does the job.

I bought a can of "Stuff" and sprayed it on all the openings. Easy and fills the hole tight.....no more critters or bugs.
