After reading more carefully, I am confused. Combined length: 59 ft. Two vehicle max length: 65 ft. that is a 6 ft difference, which is correct? Or are both correct, as in the length of the bodies combined cannot exceed 59 ft, but have 6 ft to place with as far as tongue length??
Also, I don't see how you think they'd figure out I put a hitch on...maybe motorhomes are different, but are they not built on a chassis cab vehicle?? I've been around several chassis cabs, and installing a hitch and removing it before turning in would be extremely easy...unless something with the body of the MH makes it not as simple as other similar vehicles I've been around. Is there something else I need to know
Forgot to mention, I might also consider just buying a used MH as well, and sell it after...so any info will still be quite helpful, even if I am somehow convinced that renting for my purpose is not a good choice.
