What is the model of the MIcrowave in your RV.
On my RV it came with a Dometic but the model number is an LG. now I have NEVER had an LG Product work as it should NEVER and I've handled a lot of 'em including the only microwave that I have seen designed to burn down your house (or in my case the office where I worked, thankfully someone swiftly extinguished it).
The unit has a design flaw you can fix if you are daring.
Oh. Mine now works 100%.. I'm that daring and fixed it.
