- kozloExplorerI'm enjoying reading this thread. And proud to say that my dad was a Pearl Harbor survivor, photographer's mate 2nd class stationed aboard USS Oklahoma. He was reassigned to the USS San Francisco, probably the most battered battleship of the war. Dad joined the Naval reserve and served for 30 years. During that time, my brother, his best friend, a cousin, myself, and my best friend all joined the same reserve unit. I hate that the Vietnam era vets didn't get the respect and appreciation that the current veterans so deservingly receive. God Bless America, says this flag waver.
