I made four ranks in one WESPAC E4 to E5 to E4 to E3 then back to E4
The E5 to E4 to E3 only took 10 minutes...back to E4 took the rest of cruise.
Yea, but I bet you had FUN :B:B. Made 5 of those WESPACS back in the 70's and early 80's (ATF-92{2}, FF-1065{2}, and CDS-23 Staff{1})

US NAVY active duty 1965-1969. IC3, served on the USS Little Rock CLG-4 and the USS MacDonough DLG-8. All you Navy guys that served on a ship or worked in a shipyard should get checked for Asbestosis. Two years ago got checked myself and tested positive, in fact every Navy vet at our screening tested positive, some with minor scaring and some pretty sever.
Thanks for the reminder. Hubby and I should go get checked.
Weird little sea story: we both worked on board the USS Long Beach CGN 9. CIC was located in a space between the reactors. There were signs on the wall saying "no berthing in this space" but apparently it was ok to work 20 hours a day there, as long as you didn't fall asleep. :B - Old-BiscuitExplorer IIII'd post my rank but it gets confusing :B
