Missed out on camping this weekend!

I neglected to add Memorial Day to my old geezer paper calendar. I didn't even know it was a three-day weekend until last Tuesday. By then, it was too late to find a site anywhere in the area. To add insult to injury, we are experiencing a rare stormy weekend. I LOVE camping during rainy weather. Nothing better than sitting under the awning watching the storm or hiking a recently "freshened" trail.

I am going to go online and book sites for the next year AND put them on my calendar.
