I think the grandchild gauge, ie. Rated G, is a good yardstick for this forum. While I'm tolerant of a much harsher/crude environment, and I don't have grand children, I understand the attempt at being wholesome.
I use forums to get information, maybe give someone a tip to make their life easier (show off my handy work) and for my amusement. I haven't read a thread yet, on any forum, that caused me bodily harm or instantly corrupted my mind and soul. I'm all grown up and I realize others may have a different opinion. I've grown rather accustomed to ignoring much of what I see or read on the interwebs. I've also changed my position or attitude due to someone else's input. I guess when I'm on RV.net, I expect the real World to be watered down to mostly Roses and rainbows. There are plenty of places on the web for the other stuff.
