Some moderators, when they lock a thread, leave the offending posts up so we can all see WHY they locked the thread.. Some .. Delete the offending posts.
Me.. Well where I moderate we move the offending threads OUT of public view but we never delete them.. If the offender is bad enough the head moderator will message the owners and that member won't be back any time soon. (At least not under that user name).
Bottom line.... I have no problem with the moderation here. They seem to do a fairly good job. My position is Moderation in all things including moderation and that seems to be how they do it.
But some folks go off on a rampage then you see a topic "Why was my thread locked".. Trust me,, If you saw it before the moderator cleaned it up.. YOU WOULD NOT ASK.
