Can this thread please be closed? :D
I have not such a big problem as to what is moderated (as far as I've seen), but how it's moderated. Many a times, things are deleted in a thread and something is spoken of it, but when you read the thread it makes no sense. Sort of like your missing chapter 3 and 4 of a 10 chapter book. The other thing is when a thread is closed, there is no reason to show why it is closed. Often a mod will take the time to post "this thread is done". Really? Why? Why not say something like "this thread closed due to political discussion" or "this thread closed due to gun talk". Does it hurt to add a couple more words that at least offer an explanation? And what about threads that moderators are partaking in the discussion and another mod comes and close it? Shouldn't the one mod know what's right or wrong and try to help guide that thread? And the. Lastly, there are those (or at least one that comes to mind) that feels like they need to include a cheap shot and then lock the thread. Mods/admin should be held to higher standard than doing something like that.
