This is not a job that is learned overnight. When I was asked to serve over ten years ago, it was not easy to learn how to handle each issue. Often, we discuss how to handle posts in our Moderators forum. Over time each moderator learns the tenor of each forum section, who always posts ifnormative information, interesting information (BobsYourUncle comes to mind), and also the problem folks. :) We aren't perfect, sometimes make mistakes, but try to do our best.
A few members have commented on my "G" rating standards. My reply is that if you want to read or look at violent or unsavory conduct, go elsewhere on the Iternet, the current trash on most television and movie venues.
I admit I am not young and grew up in different times with when wholesome values ruled the day. While I always appreciate suggestions, the "G" rating will not change as long as I am here.

I appreciate Dick's response. Remember that this board is the property of Sams Club and your ability to post on it is a privlege, not a right.
I'm sure that moderators receive instructon regarding to content since the owner is a big corporation. They enforce the rules and being human, interpertation can vary.
If you are so worried about people reporting posts to moderators or bothered by how they do their jobs, perhaps it's time to take a break from it. Its supposed to be about RVing with a social aspect - not a social forum with a little RVing thrown in.
I appreciate the great information to be had here, and sometimes I get out of line causing my comments to be moderated. If it happens, I just get over it as it does not make an impact on my life.
