I disagree 100%. Those posts are political.
It used to frustrate me because I wanted to post similar things. I would try hard to make vague or innocent sounding ways of getting my political point across. This was on another forum that is less tolerant of political posts than this one. (Not RV related.) Eventually I realized they were right and I was wrong. I had to admit to myself that I was trying to tiptoe around the rules. The forum was one of the most civil I've seen, and I have to think their strict no-politics rule was a big part of it.
