Even cheap home fridges these days have charcoal filters that will take the chlorine out of municipal tap water right before it goes into your cup.
Change the filter on the fridge, use it daily and you'll get clean, safe great tasting water.
For the RV tank, those who hate the bleach smell can try using AquaMira disinfectant. Still chlorine based, but less odorous than bleach and actually MORE effective as disinfecting. Too 'spensive for me though. Could be useful in case you wind up somewhere where you consider the CG water "sketchy." This stuff will make it safe.
