More carpet replacement questions

I want to replace our carpet but have another concern. (We will not tackle this ourselves) The slide on the door side is a flush slide and I know the edge will have to be bound on the edge, but my concern is the opposite side. This is where the entertainment center and kitchen are. This slide just slides out and doesn't "drop" like the opposite side. How is the old carpet removed & new replaced under this slide? Does it have to tilted somehow to get under it? Would a household carpet installer know how to do this? I'm thinking not, but will a RV repair service know how to install carpet??? How do you decide where to get it done?

Slides with new flooring can be a problem, but if you do a search on this forum, you can find lots of info on replacing carpet. You can also look at Ernie Ekberg's website to see the work he does with lots of pictures. Ernie Ekberg.

A local carpet installer may not have any experience with rvs.

Just found this post and someone needs to actually go to Ernie's website. RV's are his business. His renovation and new flooring is outstanding.
