My tt has a door to the bathroom and the door has a window that is not clear. During the day the window provides good privacy but at night when you need to use the light you lose a lot of your privacy from the window. The window does not provide a good spot for a shade because there is also a screen door. Anyone have any suggestions on how to block more of the window but still look nice?

You are saying that your bathroom door has a window? That is a first for me. A non see through cloth with Velcro could be put over the window at night. OP, you may want to clarify your post, especially the part about the screen door.

I might try painting the glass.

Use suction cups with hooks to hang a shade or covering on the window.Simple and no drilling involved.I use the suction cups to hang reflective foil insulation on the Windows for Sun protection.You can get the suction cups any craft store and many other places.

There are stick on sheets that allow light but no details. We have one on our stick house bathroom window but it came with the window. Maybe a big box store has them.

I agree with you that something opaque should be used to cover that window. I think the people who are telling you not to worry about it just don't realize how many mutants walk amongst us; so many in fact that taking precautions are a necessary fact of life, most especially for women and children.

Do what you have to do to make yourself feel comfortable and secure.

You could paste a provocative silhouette cutout inside the window and then nobody will care about the other shadow when the light is on. :E :C

it is simple, just hang a decorative small curtain. use command strips, velcro, anything to shade it.

I just have to say I find it funny that some don't understand that many trailers have the second door in the bathroom. We love it and use it all the time. Great for when we are at the fire etc. if the AC is not on we leave the door open sure the day. Just works out great.

Funny about the tents and lights inside! When I (MUCH) younger and we still tent camped, I was fully aware of the shadows on the side of tent. I always like to tease my wife (we were just married), and change in the tent at night to get ready for bed. I'd give her a "show".... However! I never thought about other campers watching also! It just never dawned on me that someone else might be watching. Well, no one ever said anything to me, so, either they enjoyed the show or just thought I was nuts! Good memories there, regardless of what the neighbor campers thoughts. :)

That is not the point, the OP is concerned with privacy, Frosted and or distortion glass, just slightly distort the image.

This is from personal experience in our S&B house, the solution for us was to replace a 3'X 3' distortion glass was replaced with a 18" X 3' to place on the head in view of the window.
