No, I think the RV industry wants to distinguish "manufactured homes" from "recreational vehicles".
RVs (motorized or not) are supposed to be for part time occupancy & built to lesser standards.
MHs are intended for full time occupancy & are built to higher standards.
This really doesn't mean much of anything for full time RVers. Financing an RV will still be hard -- thanks to bank regulations -- not HUD.
