Just appears the RV MFGs i.e. RVIA want to limit their building standards and liabilities of RVs. They already limit their vehicle safety standards. I doubt it will make any difference to us as a whole, except for our safety. They can build unsafe RVs and still limit their liability. I suspect the problems are coming up in court more often when RVs catch fire & burn up or have other major problems. If the RVer is a FTer they are sueing that their HOME lacked proper HUD safety standards. The fine print now would release the RV MFGs from some liability in construction since it is not designed for FTing. It is just junk built for a couple weekends a year and don't expect more quality than that.:B
