Thanks for posting. However, I don't see this as much more than 'lawyer cover their butt stuff'. Already most recreational RV's have a placard or it is in the owner's manual that says something about this is a recreational vehicle not used for full time living. It lets the manufacturer off the hook if something goes wrong if it is used outside the intended use, ie. full time.
Of course, today there are some RV's where the manufacturer does not state it is used only for recreational use. These typically are more expensvie and better built. In any event it would be incredibly hard to prove or enforce anybody using the coach for full time living and how is that defined? 365 days a year, 181 days a year, or what. The placard proposed will likely be ignored by purchasers as it is today with so many living full time in a coach not made or designed for full time living. It keeps the build and standards distinction between a home or manufactured home and an RV.
