I dunno' about the poorly built part, I had a '47 and it was fairly stout. Mine had the pedal clutch and the tank-side shifter. It rode pretty good, about the only thing I didn't like was the adjustable timing. Forget to set that right, kick it, and you could have yourself up in the air. At $150K, I guess I wish it was still around.

With Harley you have better than 50/50 it was a bad bike.

Not my experience but it doesn't matter. I've had bikes built in Asia, Europe, and the USA, I'm not a geographic hater or lover of anything in particular.

What kind of amazes me is to see some old yuppie on a low rider hard tail acting like he's having fun. :B
